Welcome to the La Plata County Website!La Plata County is updating its Comprehensive Plan. Because our community and region is changing, it is necessary to review and update our plan to make sure it reflects current conditions and community values. This 18 month planning effort will lead to an update of 2001 La Plata County Comprehensive Plan to make sure it reflects the current needs and vision of County residents, businesses, and other stakeholders.
